Candle Safety Guide
- If you're rocking one of our wooden wick candles, just know that they need a little extra TLC compared to their cotton wick cousins due to their delicate nature.
- To get the most out of your candle, make sure to burn it long enough so that the whole surface becomes liquid. This will prevent tunnelling (which is a big no-no in candle world).
- Before relighting your candle, don't forget to give that wick a trim - we recommend 1/4" for maximum burn time and a cleaner flame.
- Now, we know you're a responsible adult, but let's just say it: NEVER leave your candle unattended. Make sure you're burning it on a fireproof surface and keeping it away from any curious kiddos or pets.
- If you're down to less than 1/2" of wax in your candle, it's time to say goodbye (for now, at least). Trying to burn with less than that increases the risk of overheating the vessel, and we don't want any fiery mishaps.
Soap Safety Guide
- First things first, our products are for external use only, so please don't eat them (we promise they don't taste as good as they smell). If you experience any irritation, do us a solid and discontinue use.
- Our handmade soap bars are the real deal - Each bar is handmade with love, hand poured, hand cut, and no two are exactly alike.
- Our soaps aren't made for medical use, but they might just be what the doctor ordered when it comes to relaxation and self-care.
- If you want to keep your soap in tip-top shape, you can use a draining soap dish or a soap saver pouch. It's the best way to keep your soap dry and ready for action.
- We're not your average soap company - we cure all of our soap bars for 5 weeks before shipping them out. That means you're getting a premium product that's optimized for performance and built to last.
- Make sure to read the ingredients carefully if you have allergies or sensitive skin. And keep our products out of your eyes and other sensitive areas.
Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
When it's time to say goodbye to your all-natural container candles, let's make sure we're doing our part to reduce waste and minimize our impact on the environment:
- Don't toss that candle tin just yet! If it's still in good condition, it can make for a perfect storage container or a cool decorative item.
- Need a place to stash your liquids or paints? Your candle tin can do double duty there too!
- Once you've enjoyed your candle to the fullest, make sure to scrape out any remaining wax and compost it.
- Or better yet, get crafty and melt down that leftover wax to create new candles or wax melts for even more eco-friendly goodness!
By reusing, recycling, and disposing of your natural candle wax blend and candle jar responsibly, you're doing your part to promote sustainability and protect the earth. Keep up the good work :)
