Hi! We're Louie and Bao — the co-founders of Bask Hour, an eco-conscious candle brand based in Montréal, Canada. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to create beautiful, high-quality candles that are as good for you as they are for the world we share.
What started as weekend experiments in our kitchen quickly turned into a full-blown passion project. As a former chef and graphic designer, we combined our love for design, scent, and sustainability to build a brand rooted in creativity, care, and conscious living.
In our early days, we also made natural soap bars — an important part of our journey that helped shape the small-batch, intentional approach we still follow today. While we’ve since shifted our focus fully to candles, the same values remain at the core of everything we do.
At Bask Hour, we hand-pour each candle in small batches using clean-burning ingredients and thoughtfully sourced materials. From our minimal, design-forward packaging to our Asian-inspired and nostalgic scents, every detail is crafted to spark joy, connection, and a more mindful way of living.
